Mode De Vie RTW designs and manufactures hand embroideries and offers finished garment manufacturing services to select designers and fashion brands that use hand embroidery in their ready-to-wear collections — without the headaches of high MOQs or offshore mass production.

We manufacture embroidered lace, trims, appliques, badges & motifs and have the competence to engineer these products on the client’s patterns for RTW garments, shoes, bags and costume jewelry.

Due to our couture parentage, we are able to create new embroidery samples employing directions from our clients and experimenting with new techniques and materials.

We are not volume hungry. Our hunger is to create 1 of a kind pieces and we will produce as few as 6 pieces per design, so you can test, refine, and release new styles without locking up capital in stock.

Yes, you are welcome to share sketches, references, or even finished samples for estimation.
However, we strongly encourage you to provide a target price range in advance. This allows us to quickly assess feasibility and avoid unnecessary back-and-forth. We do not participate in competitive price auctions — our pricing reflects the value of low-batch, couture-grade production with hand embroidery.

We specialise in low-volume production. You can start with as few as 5 pieces per design.

This allows you to test the market, launch capsule drops, or manage inventory more efficiently without overcommitting.

We can work from:

  • Sketches
  • Sample garments
  • Mood boards
  • Embroidery swatches or artwork

If you have detailed tech packs, that’s ideal. But if not. Our team can assist with pattern development, grading, and spec finalisation based on the creative brief.

You may, but it’s not necessary.

We are able to source high-quality silks, chiffons, georgettes, cottons, viscose blends, linens, and sustainable fabrics from trusted mills.

If you prefer to ship your own fabrics, we’re happy to work with those as well.

Absolutely. As a couture embroidery house, this is our strength.

We can either develop custom embroidery for your designs or integrate existing embroidery from our archives.

You may also commission a piece with minor changes or colour customisation for exclusivity.

Sampling timelines depend on the complexity of the embroidery and garment design.

Simple embroidered styles can be sampled in 21-28 days.

Highly detailed or engineered embroidery may require more time. Once a sample is approved, we’ll commit to a delivery schedule.

Yes. We always provide detailed cost estimates before sampling or production begins.

This includes:

  • Base garment cost
  • Embroidery or embellishment cost
  • Optional add-ons (labels, packaging, etc.)

Yes. Unlike our embroidery division, Mode De Vie RTW offers full-package garment production — including pattern making, embroidery, stitching, finishing, and packing.

We do not require you to split your embroidery and garment manufacturing — unless you prefer to do so.

All sampling and production take place in our Mumbai atelier and dedicated stitching units, under close supervision. We maintain rigorous quality standards across every step.

Yes. Our low-MOQ model is designed to allow flexible reorders — even as few as 3–5 pieces per style after your initial run.

Yes, we ship worldwide using reliable courier partners like DHL, FedEx, UPS, or through your preferred logistics provider.

Clients may also share their shipping account to take advantage of negotiated bulk rates.

Mode De Vie is fully SEDEX, SA8000, and REACH compliant.

We follow international standards for ethical working conditions and do not employ anyone under the age of 16.
Our facilities have been independently audited for worker welfare, environmental practices, and transparency.

We use AZO-free dyes, offer lead-free beads, and prioritise biodegradable or recycled materials in embellishments wherever possible.
